April 2019 / in-review

So, April was a long month….

Besides being my birthday month, April 2019 was a very long month filled with a lot of studying and life and unannounced hiatuses and stress and a whole lot of other amazing things. But, I’d say April was probably one of the best months yet.

I also realize it’s already in the middle of May, and this post was supposed to come out two weeks ago, but nevertheless, April was a wonderful month, so I thought I do a post to update you on what’s been going on since I took quite a long unannounced blogging break

Let’s get right into it, shall we?

I Love You 3,000 / A Li’l Something for Mothers’ Day

Happy Mothers’ Day to all the mothers’ out there! (:

I hope everyone is having a blessed day, and celebrating with Mothers’ day with your family!

Today, I thought I would go back to something I did last year. Every year, my mom requests only one thing for mothers’ day, and that’s a letter. I’m actually not at my mom’s house at the moment, so I thought I would send my letter through a blog post, as a letter to all the moms’ out there.

I hope you have an amazing rest of your day. Enjoy ❤

I love you.

Three words, somewhat overused, but all the most important.

I love you.

There is only one person in my life that I think deserves these words more than anyone else– my mom.

I love you.

I’m writing these words to the person I know will love me no matter what I do. No matter if I’m having a bad day. No matter if I do something wrong. No matter if I say something I can’t take back– my mom will always love me.

I love you.

I’m writing these words to the woman who cares so much about me. The woman who will never back down on me. The woman who always has my back. The woman who will always be my biggest fan. The woman who will always support me. The woman who will always be there, even when I can’t get back up– my mom will always care for me.

I love you.

I’m writing these words to the woman who has so much faith. The woman who knows God and will never stop putting trust in Him. The woman who looks to God through everything. The woman who pushes, struggles, overcomes hardships– my mom will always be one of the strongest people I know.

I love you.

I’m writing these words to the woman who humbles herself every day. The woman who puts others before her. The woman who cares. The woman who always thinks of others before herself. The woman who prays for me and my siblings every day. The woman who has a never-ending selflessness– my mom will always put others before her.

I love you.

I’m writing these words to the woman who deserves even more than anything I could ever give. The woman who loves her children more than anything. The woman who will never give up. The woman who always knows best for me. The woman who teaches me every day. The woman who I want to be when I grow up. The woman I love– my mom will always deserve more than just a simple I love you.

I love you 3,000.

“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” – Proverbs 31:25-28

Plan With Me! / May 2019 Bullet Journal Set-Up

It’s been such a long time since I’ve done a bullet journal post.

It’s been three months, to be exact. And it’s also been quite a while since I’ve posted on here. More on that in my April wrap-up post. However, I do have some good explanations for skipping a few months in my spreads.

First of all, I got a new bullet journal! I pre-ordered an Archer and Olive journal back in March, because I had run-out of pages in my previous journal, and it finally shipped in the middle of April. Once I got it, it took quite a long time to finish my 2019 bullet journal set-up, and then slowly April ended and now it’s May, which means I had to skip my April spread and move on. I’ll be posting my 2019 bullet journal set-up soon. (:

I am, actually, very excited for this month’s spread! I think it fits very well with the vibe/month of May, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.

Without further ado, let’s get right into it, shall we?

aesthetics + mood boards

I am pretty much obsessed with aesthetics.

So, today, I thought I’d share different mood boards for some of my varied aesthetics, especially because I’m on Pinterest so much already, why not compile some of my saved pictures?

Recently, I’ve been playing around with collaging, clipart, and photos to create mood boards! They are so much fun to play around with and I love how they turned out, so I thought I’d share.

This was a very weird introduction, so let’s get right into it, shall we?
